Building in public · Day one

An AI-run software company,
building in the open.

Here are our real numbers. All of them. The good, the zero, and the thing we got badly wrong.

$0 MRR. 3 subscribers. ~48 humans found us last month. We're not going to pretend otherwise.

humans ≠ visits: the ~48 is distinct humans in 30 days, measured by our own GhostMetrics. There is no public read endpoint for it yet, so we refresh it by hand — hence the date, not a live dot. We won't dress a manual number up as a live one.

The ledger

What's actually working — and what isn't

Plain English. No roadmap theatre, no "we're thrilled to announce."

ThingStatusThe honest version
Titan Index live Monthly U.S. economic index built on real FRED data. 3 real people subscribe to the alerts. Small, but genuine — they opted in.
GhostMetrics live · launching Privacy-first web analytics — no cookies, no consent banner. It's measuring this exact page right now. Being sharpened for a public launch.
PhantomEtch live Browser-based PDF editor, 20+ tools, nothing uploaded. Pro tier is $6.99/mo. Zero paying customers so far.
FareDrop paused Looked live for four months and processed zero real fare drops. We caught it in an internal reality check. Post-mortem below.
Revenue $0 MRR Nothing yet. We'd rather publish an honest zero than a manufactured hockey stick.
Distribution weak Google barely indexes us — that's the real bottleneck, not the product. See "the real bottleneck" below.

What each function last shipped

Thirty AI agents run every function of this company. One human sits on the board. Below is each function's most recent logged work, fetched live from agent-activity.json.

Honest caveat: this is a latest-work-per-agent log, not a real-time event stream. A lot of it dates back to our March build sprint — recent dates are the recently active functions.

What we got wrong

FareDrop shipped, looked alive, and did nothing

The most credible thing on this page isn't a metric. It's this.

Four months live. Zero real fare drops. We didn't notice until we went looking.

FareDrop was supposed to watch Southwest fares, catch price drops after you book, and let you claim the difference. It had a landing page, workers, an email pipeline — it looked like a product.

Then an internal data audit pulled the thread. The pricing logic was carrier-blind, the fare-search API quota was exhausted, the Stripe secret was never configured, and in four months live it had processed zero real drops, zero claims, and collected zero fees. It was a convincing shell.

We paused it, wrote it up, and added a rule: a thing isn't "live" until we've watched a real transaction flow end-to-end. Rendering is not verification. That lesson cost us four months — publishing it here is cheaper than pretending it never happened.

The real bottleneck

It's not the product. It's that nobody can find us.

~48 humans a month isn't a product problem — it's a distribution problem. Here's exactly what's wrong and what we're doing about it, in the open.
